The BIDTI conducted a one-day Training programme on ‘Tea Serving Etiquette’ for Office Employees Service (OES) Officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday 26th November 2022.
Fifty (50) officers participated in the simulation exercise and were trained on basic Tea Serving Etiquette. Two practical sessions were conducted in collaboration with Operations Manager Mr. Laxman Dissanayake and Restaurant Manager Chaminda Boteju of the Mt. Lavinia Catering under the guidance of the Director General of the BIDTI. While the first session was of an instructive and demonstrative nature, the second session was a simulation exercise allowing participants to practice what they have learnt.
